I really enjoy this place's stir-fried Dao Xiao Mian (Knife-Cut Noodles). I order both combination or seafood only. The service is pretty good. If I am in a rush and need to place a takeout order over the phone, then they are open to it. The ambiance is typical of what one would find in a Chinese restaurant.

Enjoyed the food. Large sized portions. Good value and good taste. Good service. Lots of parking. Liked the decor. Self serve free soft ice cream cone at end of meal. Ice cream cone is crunchy. Very satisfying. Will go back to try more dishes.

Tried Ma's a few years ago and instantly, it became the new (for me) favorite Chinese Restaurant! I'm not sure how long it's been open but the first yelp review was 18 years ago, I'm sure it's been longer than that too! Kicking myself for not trying it sooner after a long search of trying different Chinese restaurants after one personal favorite has closed down a few years ago. Better late than never I guess! The one search has always been the Sizzling Rice Soup! This soup is so underrated and so satisfying but not every restaurant makes it and the ones that do are sometimes not that good... the veggies/toppings matters! There's been some interesting toppings/veggies that just didn't go well together. Thankfully Ma's Sizzling Rice Soup is good. Another one is San Tung's SRS if you're in the city. Beef chow fun - I love chow fun because I love thick noodles. flavor is good too! Sizzling beef - comes out hot and stays hot from the skillet. would recommend Chicken Fried Rice - how can you not get fried rice The chicken is very light but mix a little hot/chili sauce is a nice touch imo! Beef chow mein - thick chewy noodles = favorite ever. Chow mein and fried rice might sound basic for some but the go to for others but personally, it'll be to go to here. Fried Chicken Wing - it came with sweet and sour sauce on the side. Crispy but not much to it and can pass next time. It's never been crazy packed busy during the couple of visits when dining in but there's always a ton of to go orders. Service has been fine each visit and the food is always good. Will def want to come back and try the rest of their menu!

If you have a craving for traditional Chinese this is the place to visit. Food quality/taste: 10/10 we got the hot and sour soup. The portion sizes are huge. My fiance and I each had a bowl and still had soup left over. We also got the Mongolian beef which was perfectly flavored and tender. The chicken chow mein had a great flavor with the perfect ratio of noodles and chicken. Service: staff was attentive and friendly. We were seated immediately upon arriving. As soon as we sat they brought out a big pot of green hot tea. The restaurant itself and the dishes/cutlery were clean. FREE DESSERT IN THE END!!! This is the best part. I was shocked to see a free soft serve self serve ice cream machine.

The food is always so delicious here! My favorite is the beef lung and boiled fish. The service is no frills but friendly. Our new favorite that we tried was the eggplant. Wow! First time dining in since we usually take out and we were very very pleased. My boyfriend grew up in Xi'An, China for some years and always craves here for good food. Would recommend!

I am pleased that I stumbled upon this restaurant. It will quickly become one of my go-to Chinese places. The staff is friendly, the place is clean, and although not very spacious, it provides a relaxed and pleasant environment to enjoy your meal. Moreover, the menu is quite varied and offers more vegetarian options than you would typically find in Chinese restaurants. Try their food and enjoy a complimentary dessert of ice cream!

Weeknight dinner. Was empty when we got there around 6. Got pretty busy while we were there. Not our first time here. We had 4 people and ordered 2 soup noodles, 1 chow mein, 1 veggie and a green onion pancake. The soup noodles are pretty big. The beef was more tender and softer than the oxtail. Everything is good. We fight over the green onion pancake. For dessert they have a self serve soft serve ice cream which is a great treat after dinner. Parking on a weeknight dinner is no problem. Don't leave anything in your car like anywhere else.

When you think of Chinese, I would guess that you typically would not associate Islamic food with Chinese. But in the Bay Area, we have a few of these restaurants that cater to such crowds, those that are Chinese but have that Islamic, Muslim background--typically western and northwestern Chinese up around the regions neighboring Turkey. And the food, while noticeably different (just slightly most of the time) are rather good. Ma's food, rather good. I'm no expert in Islamic Chinese food. Actually, I'm no expert in Chinese food in general. So I wouldn't know what truly constitutes "halal" or "Islamic" when it comes to Chinese food. What I do know is how Chinese food generally tastes, so I'm able to taste some uniqueness and differences in dishes. And the food at Ma's, I'm a fan of. The food is made well with authentic Chinese food flavors, but some dishes with a nice twist. It's tasty and satisfying and the best thing is that Ma's has options-a-plenty, which will always give you something satisfying to try. The service, it's fine. Nothing to boast about, but they are responsive and they will get to you. It's the classic service you'd expect from a Chinese restaurant, plenty of that disinterested face but they'll get to you. Classic Chinese looking restaurant with a few booth tables, a few square tables, and a few round tables. Parking was a plenty in their private lot, but it does get packed with many restaurants options in that plaza. Fun times, I'd visit again!
